Electrolysis is a permanent hair removal method that destroys individual hair follicles using a tiny, sterile probe and a controlled amount of energy. It is the only FDA-approved permanent hair removal method.
Everyone experiences discomfort differently. Most describe it as a warm sensation that fades quickly. The advanced technology we use offers a smoother, more comfortable experience than outdated machines. We go at your pace, and check in with you throughout.
Normal temporary effects include:
• Redness
• Mild swelling
• Slight tenderness
These typically fade within a few hours. Following after care (no picking, no sun exposure) helps your skin heal quicker.
Electrolysis works by treating each follicle directly, regardless of hair or skin type, and is the only method FDA approved for permanent hair removal. It’s especially effective for finer, hormonal, or facial hair where laser will not work.
Laser and electrolysis work very differently. Laser targets pigment in the hair and can be a great option for reducing large areas of dark hair — but it’s not suitable for all hair colors or skin tones, and results are often temporary.
Many clients come to me after laser, especially if they’ve experienced patchy results or increased growth (known as laser-induced hypertrichosis). We’ll assess the follicles and create a plan that works with your history.
Once a hair follicle is fully treated and destroyed, it will never grow back. New hair can appear over time due to hormones, age, or medication, but those new hairs can also be successfully treated.
Clients under 18 require parental consent, but older teens and adults can begin treatment at any time.
I specialize in facial electrolysis, but also treat small body areas such as underarms, fingers, stomach, and bikini area. We’ll cover your priorities during your consultation.
Electrolysis is gentle and precise, making it a great option for clients with:
• Sensitive skin
• Reactive skin
• Allergies to waxing or depilatories
• Pigmentation concerns
Every journey begins with a private consultation. We will discuss your goals, evaluate your hair growth patterns, and create a customer treatment plan tailored to your skin's needs.
Facial Clearing: (Upper lip, chin, jawline, and sideburns)
Eyebrow Shaping: Permanent definition for your perfect arch.
Body Treatment: Underarms, bikini area, abdomen, breast, and more.
Hormonal Hair Growth: Specialized care for those dealing with PCOS or other hormonal shifts.
Permanent hair removal is a process, not a one-time treatment. You’ll see progress after each session, but because of natural hair growth cycles, most clients need a series of treatments over time. We’ll discuss a plan tailored to you during your consultation.
Typical guidelines:
• Facial areas: every 2–4 weeks
• Body areas: every 4–6 weeks
• Treatment schedules depend on hair density, growth rate, and area size.
Sessions are fully customizable and typically range from:
• 15 minutes – great for small areas like the upper lip or chin
• 30 minutes – common for facial areas
• 45–60 minutes – for larger or denser areas
• Longer sessions may be scheduled for extensive areas such as the back or legs
I will recommend session length based on your goals, comfort, and hair density.
When will I start to see results?
• Immediately: Treated hairs are removed at the root, so the area looks smoother right after treatment.
• Within a few weeks: You’ll notice less regrowth and finer hair in treated areas.
• 3–6 months: Visible reduction becomes more consistent as more hairs are treated in their active growth phase.
• 9–18 months: Most clients achieve permanent results with consistent treatments and proper scheduling.
• Follow your treatment schedule
• Shave only between sessions if needed
• Monitor for new growth and schedule maintenance sessions
"Before care" for your treatments consists of:
• Staying hydrated
• Avoiding caffeine and nicotine for 2–3 hours
• Allow the hair to grow for a few days before your session,
• Arriving with clean, makeup-free skin
• Not tweezing or waxing for at least 2–4 weeks
"After care" for your treatments consists of:
• Avoiding makeup in the treated area for 24 hours
• Avoiding exfoliation, workouts, saunas, or steam for 24–48 hours
• Keeping the skin clean and moisturized
• Not touching or picking at the treatedarea. Temporary redness or swelling is normal and fades quickly.
If you ever have questions after a treatment, you’re always welcome to reach out.
Most clients do not need ongoing maintenance. Occasional touch-ups may be needed if hormonal shifts, medications, or medical conditions change which may influence new hair growth.
Treated follicles do not regrow hair. Any future hair that appears is typically new growth,
Yes. I understand that life happens; however...
• Appointments cancelled or rescheduled with less than 48-hour notice will be subject to a charge of 100% of the scheduled session fee
• Running Late? For late arrivals, the appointment time lost will be deducted from your scheduled session. (ex. if you book a 15-minute session and arrive 5 minutes late, the session will be shortened to 10 minutes, but the full session fee will still apply).
Many clients with PCOS report feeling more empowered, confident, and in control of their appearance after consistent treatments. I provide discreet, compassionate care every step of the way.
